Chicago girls love cosplay and make SpongeBob SquarePants
Mira Park, a 20-year-old from Chicago, loves fashion and is creative. Her costumes are reminiscent of childhood favorite movies, such as “Scooby-Doo”, “The Fairly OddParents – Timmy’s Roach” and “Shrek” Mira also designed costumes based on popular anime characters, such as One-Punch Man and Ghibli Studio characters.
Recently, Mira’s SpongeBob reality show has become popular. She hung herself on the playground like a SpongeBob, leaving even bruises on her arms. Currently, she has more than 150,000 followers on Instagram.
Now Mira manages all her outfits and creates based on her favorite shows, games, and movies. Despite her acclaim for her talent, it took her a lot of time to create a look. As a full-time student, she must first consider her studies. Mira also runs her own online store, selling accessories and accessories. “In order to complete my cosplay, I usually work 12 to 16 hours a day,” she said.
Mira’s obsession with fashion helped her complete every cosplay. She usually chooses the characters she likes and turns their designs into fashion concepts. “I would consider making cosplay my job because I make some money from it occasionally,” she said.
